On my personalized Google homepage, (even though Google isn't a portal. Uh, yeah. We believe you, Google) I have a module that gives me NASA's Image of the Day, which is always interesting, and frequently beautiful.
This weekend, the picture is of Monument Valley, and it was so beautiful, I wanted to share it with you all.
I look at things like this, and it reminds me of when I've visited national parks and monuments throughout my life, and I've just marveled at how truly magnificent our planet is. There's beauty everywhere, if you're just open to seeing it.
Click the image to go to NASA, where you can get a full-resolution version of the picture, perfect for desktops.
