Tuesday Night Poker With Wil at PokerStars

I haven't mentioned this in a long time, and I haven't really had time to play, anyway, but this seems like as good a time as any to remind you all that every Tuesday night, I host a $11 No-limit Texas Hold'em tournament at PokerStars.

The tourneys are a lot of fun, with a variety of skill and luck levels, and we usually get a nice turnout between 60 and 100 players, and we're usually done within three hours. It's only $11 bucks, so that keeps the super-serious hardcore players away (it's not worth their time) and it lets the rest of us enjoy what is more like a homegame than a very serious and competitive game (until we get to the final table, when it is all about maximum tilt odds.)

As a bonus, if you knock me out of the tournament, you get the next one named after you.

So if you're interested, head over to PokerStars tonight at 8:30 Eastern time, and look under Tourneys -> Private in the lobby. Search for "WWdN" and register with the password, which is always "monkey."

Tonight, I'm also hosting a tournament for West Coast / Second Chance tourney, which starts at 10:30 Eastern, using the same password. If enough people sign up for that one, I may make it a weekly event, as well. I haven't been able to play poker for more than a few minutes at a time for the last couple of months, and I'm really looking forward to hitting the virutal felt again tonight; even if you can't play, you can always stop by and say hello (as long as you have at least a dollar or something in your account.)
