i heart pixels hearts me!

R. Stevens, creator of the most awesome Diesel Sweeties, has a project called I heart pixels, in which he makes really cool 32px drawings of all sorts of things, including people and polyhedral dice.

He's doing a series of pixel portraits he calls "Heroes of the Blogosphere," and he chose me as his first subject.

As Zoidberg would say, "What an honor!"

Man Wil, you could star in an SNES game!

A totally hawesome, and totally deserved tribute.

Congrats.

Your hair is not "Spiked" enough Wil and it's not Purple or whatever color it was in that movie...

hehehehe

That's awesome!

That's sooo Geek Sheek!

Adorable! Not as cute as that Wil-as-Robert-Lincoln photo, but darn cute anyhow.

AWESOME!!!

You look totally hot.
I want to print out a life size version of the image, but not only would it be pixelized (hahahaha), my printer would kill me.

-.-

Lego Wil!

Very cool Wil!You definitely oughta be in pixels!

..OMG..I can't believe I said that. :-0
Silly me! ;-)

Awww, that is cute. Honestly when I read the headline my first thought was "Who doesn't heart you!"

1. Surely you can get a copy to put on your own blog?

2. Lego Wil is a great idea! Maybe Lego ST:TNG even; and a video game too. If it can work for Star Wars...

3. Someone should start Third Life, where your avatar has to be as pixellated as it would look in an SNES game

My Photo

The Happiest Days of Our Lives

  • These are the stories Wil loves to tell, because they are the closest to his heart: stories about being a huge geek, passing his geeky hobbies and values along to his own children, and vividly painting what it meant to grow up in the ’70s and come of age in the ’80s as part of the video game/D&D/BBS/Star Wars figures generation.

Buy Just A Geek: The Audiobook

  • "This journey is a fascinating read, made even more intimate and fulfilling by Wil's narrative. This is not just an audio book, it's a glimpse into the psyche of the man who considers himself . . . Just a Geek."
