I've been real excited about Comet McNaught since I first read about it a few weeks ago, and I knew that time to see it was running out, so Anne and I planned to take our binoculars and drive up one of our local mountains tonight to get a look at it.
The skies were clear all day, save a few puffy clouds, but when we walked out twenty minutes ago to leave, there were big, dark, stormy clouds covering the skies to the West/Southwest, right down to the horizon, exactly where Comet McNaught is sitting.
Dammit.
