perfect day

Wil and Anne at Disneyland. July 31, 2007.

Ryan turned eighteen today, and we spent the day at Disneyland with him.

There are some photos in my buzznet blog, taken before the battery on my Motorola POS-4000 went from three bars to zero bars in fifteen minutes. (It's really time for a new phone).

Happy birthday, Ryan. You're awesome and I love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN! I don't remember my 18th birthday, but I know Disneyland kicks its ass.

Great pic Wil. You two make a really cute couple.

Happy Birthday Ryan!

Happy Birthday Ryan.

Just a note, Wil, at least on my screen, your text under the picture is cut off other than your birthday wishes to Ryan.

It could just be me so ignore this if you can read all the text.

Oh and great pic of you and the Misses.

Happy Birthday Ryan! Your parents are so cool to take you to Disneyland for your birthday!

I can't see any of the text either. The picture covers it all up.

Happy Birthday Ryan! Hope you all had a wonderful day. That's a very sweet picture of the two of you. Thanks for sharing it.

For thise who can't see it, the text reads:

"Ryan turned eighteen today, and we spent the day at Disneyland with him.

Happy Birthday, Ryan! I remember my 18th... kind of. Disneyland rocks! Hope you all had a wonderful day!

That's a nice picture of the two of you.

Happy B-Day, kiddo!

I love the fact that our cell phones can take pictures, play Ms Pac-Man, play music, and receive calls from an airplane, and they finally look like communicators from Star Trek, but we all still complain about our cell phones! I do, anyway. Remember when cell phones were only good for beating hookers with? When they used to cost $8 a minute??

BTW, Congrats on a good moment in life.

The iPhone has great battery life, photos sync with iPhoto like a regular camera, and as a bonus its mandatory AT&T service helps the government make sure you're not a terrorist.

Happy Birthday, Ryan! I hope y'all had fun! :)

Happy Birthday, Ryan! Wasn't it dad's birthday just a few days ago?

"Time for a new phone"? Trying to justify an iPhone, eh :) I love mine.

Good one Wil!!

i'm still hooked on my Crackberry .. can't live without it...
However, it doesn't take very good pictures :(

Hmm.. iPhone eh??! *scratches chin in deep contemplation*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!!!
~~TARA~~

You guys look so happy!

a very happy birthday to you, Ryan!

Happy Birthday Ryan..

Time to ditch Cali - your legal in Canada now... come on up and have a beer around the fire pit with us. Bring Wil and we'll do the Scotch / Poker / bad cigar tour.

Great picture Wil! The pirate picture on your buzznet blog also cracked me up way too much. LOL

Happy 18th Birthday Ryan!!

What a cute couple.

And happy birthday, Ryan. Disneyland. That's my idea of a great day!

Happy B-Day Ryan!

Time sure flies, doesn't it?

Happy Birthday :-)
FYI...you guys do not look like the parents of an 18 year old!!! Cheers

Happy B-day Ryan!

Looking at the posted photo methinks Wil and family should sit for a family photo before the Big Transition this month (for family eyes only due to privacy concerns), either a sitting done by a pro photog with all smiles and clean undies or something intimate done 'round the house sprinkled with Wheaton-y family geekiness.

Oh and . . . it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all . . .

Happy Birthday, Ryan!!! You're a lucky guy to have such great parents.

Best wishes always!

The Happiest Days of Our Lives

  • These are the stories Wil loves to tell, because they are the closest to his heart: stories about being a huge geek, passing his geeky hobbies and values along to his own children, and vividly painting what it meant to grow up in the ’70s and come of age in the ’80s as part of the video game/D&D/BBS/Star Wars figures generation.

Buy Just A Geek: The Audiobook

  • "This journey is a fascinating read, made even more intimate and fulfilling by Wil's narrative. This is not just an audio book, it's a glimpse into the psyche of the man who considers himself . . . Just a Geek."
