Ryan and his girlfriend (who is awesome) went with me to Old Town earlier today, where I took a picture of this NO STOPPING curb painted on the corner of Colorado and de Lacey.
"Why did you take that?" Ryan said.
"Because I think it looks cool," I said.
Ryan looked at the picture on my phone before I sent it.
"That looks like "No stop ping, like it's all, 'hey! You can't stop ping!'"
"How would you stop Ping?" Ryan's girlfriend (who is awesome) said.
While I worked on some hilarious response, based on the decision that Ping was an old Chinese man who lived on a rocket-powered junk, Ryan didn't miss a beat.
"The best way to stop a ping is with a network timeout." He said.
I laughed so hard I wasn't able to tell her why it was so funny. Ryan had to explain while I leaned against a trash can and caught my breath.
