get dressed

There are two new shirts in the Penny Arcade store that rock my world. One is inspired by this comic:

Slide_forever

The second needs no further introduction. Sadly, TypePad just flat out refuses to display the image I so carefully cropped and uploaded (three different times), so you'll just have to go over to the Penny Arcade Store right now and see it for yourself. Rock.

This is yet another reason I love being a geek. We get stuff like this, while the cool kids are stuck with the same sports logos and brand names everyone else buys at the mall.

I have the Heroism shirt, but don't think I'm going to get the new one.

I think if the drum pad rings were colored, it might push me over the edge. :)

Golden.

I don't get the slide. Are those supposed to be stable wormholes or something?

I am not sure if you like shameless whoring on your comments, but I know you are a writer and actor. I had to write this "play" for an english class, but it is really more of a movie. The link is on my blog, if you want to check it out:

Since it is 20 pages long, that link takes you to the clickable table of contents. If you read it, please let me know what you think!

the slide is in reference to portal as well as a comic penny-arcade made that was just gabe having a blast going down a slide endlessly with portals(therefore thinking with portals as the game teaches you).

Not so sure I like this segregation. I want to see geeks take over the world. In order to make that happen, I think we're all going to have to learn to communicate with each other.

Personally, Wil - this one reminds me of you:

I managed to snag myself an "I Hope You Like Text" for the few seconds it was available this weekend. I would clean out their store if I had the funds!

Another set of really awesome and mostly geeky shirts: http://www.bustedtees.com/

Check out http://topatoco.com. Because everyone should own a werewolf vs. unicorn shirt.

I agree with you Wil. I would much rather wear this shirt than a "normal person" shirt that says something like "Give me chocolate or I kill you!" Ha ha ha ha ha!!! ...Hicks.
The only shirt that I really want is the one at thinkgeek.com that says "I love my geek", but I don't have one at the moment. My only geek is me. *tear*

Actually this is inspired by the game PORTAL, that came with The Orange Box, this package included Half Life 2, Half Life Episode 1, Half Life Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

The Happiest Days of Our Lives

  • These are the stories Wil loves to tell, because they are the closest to his heart: stories about being a huge geek, passing his geeky hobbies and values along to his own children, and vividly painting what it meant to grow up in the ’70s and come of age in the ’80s as part of the video game/D&D/BBS/Star Wars figures generation.

Buy Just A Geek: The Audiobook

  • "This journey is a fascinating read, made even more intimate and fulfilling by Wil's narrative. This is not just an audio book, it's a glimpse into the psyche of the man who considers himself . . . Just a Geek."
