is there anyone home?
. . . yep. But my doctor says that talking on the phone, sending e-mails, posting in my blog, and spending too any time doing much more than watching TV (I'm still too drugged up to fucos -- I'm not changing the spelling on that because it's so goddamn funny -- on reading this big stack of graphic novels I bought for the recovery) raises my blood pressure dangerously high, making me bleed a lot. I guess bleeding a lot is something I'm supposed to avoid for the next few days, so it's me, the couch, and the TV.
I'm trying to get Anne to guest post while I'm drooling on the couch and watching Modern Marvels, so maybe there will be something worth reading here in the near future.
Thanks for all the get well wishes you've all left in comments and sent via e-mail. That's very kind of you all.

Fucosing = bad. Vegging = good. Working = bad. Robot Chicken = good. Bleeding = bad. Comic novels = good.

Rest well.
Try not to bleed on the couch.

Glad you checked in, but take it easy. It's difficult but we can live without you and your Wheaton-ey goodness for a little while.

I'm not feeling well either dude. I've got a fever for the second day in a row. I need more cowbell.

Take advantage of not getting to do anything except catch up on comics, movies, and shows. When you're back at work, you'll be busy enough!

Rest Well.
Modern Marvels, How It's Made, Some Assembly Required, Dirty Jobs...

Watching Torchwood is a good way to spend some time.
Plus, then you can talk about it if you like it, which is good for the rest of us.

Like TV isn't gonna raise your blood pressure! You need a Survivorman marathon.

I've always found that the involuntary release of precious bodily fluid(s) is not nearly as much fun as the voluntary.
Get Wil Soon!

Please enjoy your forced relaxation. I know it's hard to go from super busy to 0 but later, when you are still not 100% and life gets crazy again, you'll regret not just relaxing when you had the chance.
Feel better soon!

Relax, take a load off, and feel better soon! I take it that your packing came out just fine?
I'll keep sending some "get well soon" thoughts your way.
And blog posts from Anne would be extremely cool!
Cheers!

Take your time resting up, we'll all be here when you're ready to get back to the blog.
And Scott W, good call on Torchwood! I'm alternating Torchwood season 1 with MI5 season 1. But stay off of that for now Wil, that one would certainly raise your blood pressure - intense!

Add my wish for you to get well soon, Wil.
Love the Torchwood love (and the Welsh accents!)

Hope you get to feeling better soon, Wil. Don't bleed all over Anne - well, at least more than you need to, anyways.

Thanks for checking in...but now get back to resting. We all want you better, so don't stress yourself.

Back in the good old days, warriors would hunt and gather and bleed all the time. When man started to become civilized, they did not bleed enough and started blood-letting. In Modern Times we give to the Red Cross every couple of months to help us and those who could use it. Ask your doctor about giving blood after you are better.

I was actually just wondering how you were doing, early today. You always have the best timing.
Get better soon!
PS: Do bloody movies make your blood pressure go up too? ;)

Yikes!!
Get away from that keyboard! The couch is your friend! No stress! No bleeding!! More reading!
Go.
We'll still be here when you get back.
Feel better soon!

Enjoy your rest while you can! A few weeks or a couple of months from now, you'll be looking back at these days of laziness with longing. Well, without all the pain and blood and stuff.

We appreciate the effort it took for you to check in, Wil--now get back to resting.
Letting Anne fill in would be nice, just watch out she doesn't Wally Pipp you!

Hope you're feeling better soon, Wil! That would be great if Anne could drop in once in a while and give us an update. Now, go watch TV and try not to bleed.

I really like Deadliest Catch myself.
Hope you're feeling better, fucosing better, and not bleeding at all really soon now.
Meanwhile, watch TV!
