LOL That is always great. I am new to your website and have enjoyed reading your musings. Nice to know the world is full of other geeks :) Thanks for sharing with us and I look forward to reading more of your insites.

My husband and I were rewatching this last night! You're right, it never gets old.

Also: yes, I'll admit that sounds incredibly pathetic :)

you're a nut you know.

i like nuts.

nuts are good.

in fact, me and my friends? pretty much all nuts.

yay nuttyness!

me neither, I confess!

Somewhere in the most primitive part of my brain, I always have to laugh at that every time.

He made an appearance on South Park last week..

O RLY?

You know, this is the first I'm seeing this clip. I've seen stills of this little guy all over the place (mostly on Fark), but never knew where it came from.

Now I know.

And knowing is half the battle!

That's just too bizarre for words.

crazy? I was crazy once, they put me in a rubber room with that oversized rodent....

That creature fought the Chocolate Rain guy in a deathmatch! Yay South Park!

Admit it, you geek, you posted this because we talked about tit so much the other night. Don't make me turn this blog around!

Guilty as charged!

Me too man, I think i played that like 45 times in one day and cracked up every time.....Um, I mean like twice otherwise that would just be weird.

... and of course, I meant to type "about it". I hear Freud had a nice slip.

Me either. I watched it 6 times yesterday.

Have to admit, I didn't get this at first, but once I turned my speakers on, I too was hooked!

I'm partial to this version... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uaw2CdjU3c

AB, that's a good one. Be sure to check out the remix compilation at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOU8GIRUd_g when you get a chance.

I love this! It's right up there with my favorite stories (Dogs in Elk and Cat vs. Roomba, specifically). I also so love the Sweet Potato Dog Saga (which I think you would love given your relationship with your dogs). If you haven't read it, you must. It's here: http://littera-abactor.livejournal.com/7748.html

Enjoy!

Of course i watched and enjoyed the South Park parody. And that musical cue? Priceless, esp. on good speakers. BTW, where *is* that music from? I keep thinking classic ST, but I know that's wrong.

Saw this wilw Twitter:
"Having all the fun shooting Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show. My comedy is rusty, but coming back nicely. Super fantastic shiny time!"

Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah!! Not that Ron Jeremy didn't turn out hilarious, too, but I was so jazzed by that tidbit the other day online, then bummed when episode 4's "big star" turned out NOT to be you. Just hoping you don't turn out to have a B.F.F. like episode 3's special guest ...

And if you haven't seen that South Park yet...

Seriously, it kills me every. time. In every iteration. Just like the disapproving rabbits.

I like his appearance in South Park: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/165196/

Bond remix is good. Kill Bill remix is better ;)

The Happiest Days of Our Lives

  • These are the stories Wil loves to tell, because they are the closest to his heart: stories about being a huge geek, passing his geeky hobbies and values along to his own children, and vividly painting what it meant to grow up in the ’70s and come of age in the ’80s as part of the video game/D&D/BBS/Star Wars figures generation.

Buy Just A Geek: The Audiobook

  • "This journey is a fascinating read, made even more intimate and fulfilling by Wil's narrative. This is not just an audio book, it's a glimpse into the psyche of the man who considers himself . . . Just a Geek."
