Part Two of our InDigital trip to the 2007 CES
has been released, and is available for your viewing excitement. (It was actually released a few days ago, but I just discovered it now. Oops.)
It's part 2 of InDigital's adventure to the Consumer Electronics Show 2007 in Las Vegas. Like part 1 there's lots and lots of gadgets...some strange, some not, and some that are years off. Wil takes a special trip to another convention too.I haven't watched this show yet (I'm downloading it now) but I'll comment on it later. I'm particularly interested to see how the segment at the porn show turned out. We had a real challenge in editing it (no cutaways because we only had one camera) but I had an idea that I think would make it very funny, so I hope they used it.
UPDATE: Okay, I watched it, and I'm real happy with the way the show ended up. I thought we struck a nice balance of humor and information, and (across our two episodes) gave a representative sample of what the 2007 CES was all about.
The way they edited the porn show segment was great; I would have put in about another 60-90 seconds, but the show was already getting long, so I understand that choice.
Overall, I'm very happy with how the two episodes came together, especially knowing how incredibly hard Hahn and Jessica worked the whole time there were there.
The show is huge and very spread out, too, and just getting from one place to another is an exercise in patience and endurance; by the end of the show, I wanted to sit in a corner and just cover up my head, but we shot our host wraps, instead. I know that Hahn was working 18 hour days that entire week, and Jessica had to shoot for some other companies, too, so of the three of us, they had the hardest work (this leaves out our producer and camera crew, who also worked as hard as they did.)
It's took several intense days of work to put together those two thirty minute shows, and I'm very proud of everyone who worked so hard to make the shows come together.
We're still very low-budget, and we're still working with a minimal crew, but I see great things for us in the future, as Revision3 continues to grow and we expand our audience.
As always, I'm very interested in feedback if you've watched the show.
